Background

Jolly Reacher is a freelance marketing and advertising company seeking to enhance its online presence and brand identity. The project involved redesigning their website and logo to better reflect their innovative services and attract a broader clientele.

The problem

Jolly Reacher, a freelance marketing and advertising company, previously relied on sending lengthy PDF documents to potential clients to showcase their services. This method proved to be ineffective, as it overwhelmed recipients with too much information at once, resulting in low engagement and missed opportunities. The challenge was to create a more engaging, user-friendly way to present their offerings and attract new clients.

Solution

To solve Jolly Reacher's client communication challenges, I redesigned their website and logo and rebranded the company name. The new website features clear, concise content and interactive elements to better engage potential clients, while the refreshed logo and name reflect their innovative approach and professional expertise. This rebranding effort aims to enhance user engagement, improve client acquisition, and elevate Jolly Reacher's online presence in the marketing and advertising industry.

Client Needs

During a meeting with Jolly Reacher, I engaged with the client to understand their needs and challenges. We discussed their goals for improving client engagement, the shortcomings of their current PDF-based approach, and their vision for a new brand identity. This conversation provided valuable insights that guided the redesign of their website and logo, ensuring the final deliverables aligned with their objectives and target audience.

The Logo

The client provided a rough sketch of their desired logo, along with specific color preferences, to ensure the new design aligned with their vision. This collaborative input guided the creation of a logo that accurately reflected Jolly Reacher's brand identity and met their aesthetic goals.

I created the new logo in Procreate, starting with the client's sketch and color preferences. Using Procreate's advanced tools, I refined and polished the design, ensuring it captured Jolly Reacher's brand identity while incorporating the specified colors for a fun and professional look.

I began with designing the logo to establish the color scheme and overall brand identity. By finalizing the logo’s design and color palette, I created a cohesive visual foundation that guided the website design. This ensured that the website’s aesthetics matched the brand’s identity and provided a unified look across all platforms.

New Responsive Design

I created a responsive website design for Jolly Reacher, ensuring it adapted seamlessly to various devices and screen sizes. By incorporating the same colors as the company logo, I maintained brand consistency and a cohesive visual identity. This approach enhanced user experience and reinforced Jolly Reacher's professional and innovative image across all platforms.

Conclusion

The redesign of Jolly Reacher's website and logo successfully transformed their client communication approach, creating a more engaging and professional online presence. The responsive website design, paired with the refreshed logo and cohesive color scheme, effectively showcased their services and strengthened their brand identity.

Throughout this project, I learned the importance of aligning design elements with client goals and maintaining brand consistency. Engaging directly with clients to understand their needs proved crucial in delivering a tailored solution that enhanced user engagement and satisfaction.
